How to make your perfume last longer
Where you apply it, when, and on what: small habits that keep a scent close all day.

A fragrance lasts longest on skin that is moisturised. Apply an unscented lotion first, then spray onto the pulse points: the wrists, the inside of the elbows and the base of the throat.
Spray, then leave it. Rubbing your wrists together warms the top notes and breaks them down faster, so the opening fades before it has had time to settle.
Fabric holds scent well too. A light mist on a scarf or the collar of a coat carries the base notes long after they have softened on skin.
